To maintain the magnetizing current of the transformer at the same level the ratio of voltage to frequency must be the same. i.e

Given

F1 = 50 Hz

F2 = 25 Hz

V1 = 230 V

V2 = ?

$\frac{V}{F} = Constant$

$\begin{array}{l} \frac{{{V_2}}}{{{F_2}}} = \frac{{{V_1}}}{{{F_1}}} = Constant\\ \\ {V_2} = 230 \times \frac{{25}}{{50}} \end{array}$

V2 = 115 V
